Goals and Objectives

UCLI has shown a resolve that is resolute to educate children in both trying economic times and times of serious debate about what best serves our children educationally. Its founder has worked steadfastly to create a curriculum for young minds for more than 10 years, with the last four years being spent developing this work. With issues related to children’s education (i.e., the validity of teaching to tests, effects of classroom sizes, and supporting children’s psychological and emotional health), UCLI has established the right environment for educating children, maintaining an integrity and excellence in providing a first class system of education that is known as the first level of defense in early education.

The early years of a child’s life are crucial to establishing a base for later success in school and in life. Young children have rapidly developing minds and education that is established early in life is vital to securing excellent habits of learning. The need for enrichment in these early years is especially great for children living in poverty. Children in poverty face challenging developmental circumstances, including high economic and social stresses and limited exposure to language and cultural development.
